Privacy and your data
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
Harrogate Decking is a trading name of 360 Media Works Ltd, company number 12691769, registered office Varsity House, C/O A E Scott & Co, Falcon Court, Preston Farm Industrial Estate, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3TS. In law, that business is the controller of the details you share here, and the quote form is the way to raise anything to do with your data.
Form processing and transfers
The enquiry form is part of harrogatedecking.co.uk rather than an embedded third-party form. When you send it, your details go to our own form handler on Cloudflare, which stores them in a Cloudflare D1 database and then adds them to our customer records system, HighLevel, a US company acting as our data processor. That can mean your details are transferred to the United States, protected by the safeguards in HighLevel's data processing terms.
Cookies set by the form
The form sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Along with what you type, it sends the address of the page you are on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link (utm_ values), so we know where enquiries come from. Our cookies page has the details.
Keeping the form free of spam
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is sending the form, which involves processing basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type. To stop spam and repeated submissions we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with your enquiry and in a short-lived rate-limit record, never the address itself. No Facebook or advertising pixel is used.
Hosting
We use Cloudflare to host and secure this website, so it processes standard technical information like IP addresses. We don't measure visitors with analytics software or use cookies for tracking or advertising.
A map of each area, provided by Google Maps, is available on our location pages but stays off until you click to show it. After that, the map is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Personal data we receive
Personal data reaches us through the quote form, which collects your name, contact number, email, postcode and any comments about your deck. It is used for handling your request and nothing more, and there is no login of any kind.
When we delete data
We don't keep enquiries indefinitely: two years after you last got in touch, they are deleted.
Why the law allows this
The basis for using your data is your own request for a quote (pre-contractual steps) and, alongside it, our legitimate interest in following up enquiries.
Who sees your enquiry
Only our own team and the service providers named on this page see your enquiry, and only so it can be dealt with. We do not trade personal data, and we don't let others use it for sales calls.
Not satisfied?
Should you remain dissatisfied, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) deals with data protection complaints in the UK.
Controlling your information
Your rights include getting a copy of your personal data, having errors put right, asking for erasure and objecting to or restricting processing. All of these can be requested through the quote form, and we always answer within one month.
Revisions
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
